Cambridge had enough pace to see off a spirited Bury in two hard fought games. No quarter asked or given.

Albion are 2W/2:
v Okehampton (H) 34-26 v Exeter Uni (A) 36-42 Brickfields are hosting Commonwealth Navies Rugby Cup (UK/AUS/NZ) tournament in late Sep, so are obliged to water the pitch regardless. (https://www.navyrugbyunion.co.uk/cnrc-2022) Higher possibility of natural irrigation this week due to 25-30% chance of thundery showers. Venue swap if things remain difficult at Cambridge for Week 1?

Although baked dry, we played on Saturday, and there is hope of rain this week. So I expect the match to go ahead as normal.

Seems strange that two sides in the same league are playing a preseason against each other to me.

Beggars can't be choosers, I suspect. There were several seasons when Leeds had no pre-season games.

That's easy for you to say.

Yes it would appear that the electric company didn’t repair the fault properly and failed to find the fault on Friday when they returned after it went out on Thursday night almost wonder why you have contracts for this. Still they have a few weeks before it will be needed again
