Think he was commuting from Cheltenham when he was playing for Ealing last year, with a young family I suspect that heavily drove the decision to be closer to home. We all expected to see him coach a season or longer at Ealing after hanging up the boots, alas he didn't hang around, but wish him success at Hartpury.

Bedford sign centre Joel Matavesi permanently, who had previously been on loan from Saints. The press release makes it sound like he will be our backup fly half (we only have Maisey after Grimoldby signed for Cambridge) which is concerning because he’s an excellent hard running centre but doesn’t strike me as a natural fly half.
