Hi guys, to all that read our posts in the midlands. We have been told today of the passing of our great friend in rugby Louie Clayton, former chairman and President at Scun-thorpe RUFC as well as former President of NLD rugby. If you are unsure of who he is look on our Twitter page and you'll recognise him for sure.

Friendly Prop hope all well at sunny SKiwifruithorpe. Louie was a Nice guy and I pinched a few of his jokes from our visits to you. Condolences to his family and friends from Sandbach and we hope to see you back at Sandbach next season.

Our condolences. A sad loss for the game and even bigger one for a great club that he helped so much to develop. He was a fantastic host to us at ONs on our infrequent visits when in the same leagues & National Colts Cup matches.
Been around too long to know better
