The DMP winger somehow dislocated his knee, from my view it looked like arms hit shoulder and went up but will wait for the video before commenting further

Rabbie, from the video unfortunately the tackle was reckless it was hand to the neck which poleaxed Morgan, the sudden stop in momentum created a hyper extension of the knee which dislocated. It wasn't pretty, but Morgan and his Father have commented it was a "Rugby Incident". Lets not try and justify a reckless tackle and move on and wish Morgan a speedy and full recovery. Steph. has apologised for the reckless tackle (his words) which has been accepted by Morgan and his father with no recriminations. That should be the end of the matter

Tackle on Morgan passman was high, fell badly and dislocated his knee. Didn't seem to be any malice, just a bad tackle, red card correct decision.

That is incredibly unlucky. Very magnanimous of the Passmans. Chapeau.

It looked like a swinging arm by Stef Liebenberg to the back of Morgan Passman's neck while his leg was outstretched, so Passman would have taken his whole body weight on that leg resulting in a knee dislocation. Liebenberg wrote on Twitter "Apologies to @MowdenPark @Blackheath_1858 and @MorganPassman3 for my reckless tackle today. Speedy recovery mate. S" Steve Passman replied "Thanks @stef9lieb we just mark it down as a rugby incident in our house, maybe a yellow but not a red!!"
I thought that was a very gracious response considering the incident and the gravity of the injury. Edited by Fake_Shemp - 08 Dec 2019 at 11:41 |

That's up to the disciplinary panel, what will be will be, but I don't think anybody from DMP wishes ill of Steph Liebenberg. |

The video highlights are on the DMP site, it’s not pretty and you can clearly see Morgan is in pain, it equally wasn’t malicious, it just went horribly wrong - kudos to Morgan and his family for being so magnanimous https://www.mowdenpark.com/news/dmprfc-34--17-blackheath-rfc-2493499.html
