Critical comments about match officials on a rugby forum isn't great but official club stuff should imo set a much higher standard and should always respect the position of the match officials.

Anyhow, on to the next games, just wishing Scottish were playing not relishing the thought of the bye…..

A lot of people (myself included) will talk of the injustices of the officiating, either on this type of forum or in the pubs and bars following the game. That is part of sport. If we aren't watching or playing it, we are talking about it.
Clubs, however, really should take a higher moral stance and respecting the officials is of paramount importance. The refs and TA's do sometimes have off days too (they are only human) and if a club has a genuine grievance, then there are channels for them to be noted and acted upon where necessary. I didn't see the game, but if the officials really did miss a tip tackle, then the guilty player should be cited.
