Don’t think everyone wants to watch 7 hours of rugby on a Saturday
Working in my retail business I enjoyed Friday and Sunday games Plus I think it helps the bar takings on Mini and Junior and girls matches on Sunday afternoons

Wouldn't be a fan of having more than one Saturday with three games. Even the existing one-off 'Super' Saturday is a little tainted by teams playing later having an advantage - but the game seems to have decided to accept this element of unfairness in order to maximise revenue.
Sundays and the occasional Friday are ok IMHO, well better than multiple 'Super' Saturdays. The atmosphere at Sunday games isn't as good, but that's an issue for spectators who pay to attend games in person, and the administrators have been clear/consistent that we aren't the priority...

I wonder if this is the first push from CVC to improve revenues.
Is it easier for TV companies to sell advertising this way? Or BBC get more viewers this way? Maybe it cuts production costs.

Yes count me as one of those against this proposed move for the reasons mentioned above.

Would think clubhouse mgrs make more out of more days of games than more games per day.

Do clubhouses get much take up beyond the England games?
I'm not convinced this is the money spinner people think.

I wonder how many who watch on TV are involved in club rugby on a Saturday and therefore like the Friday/ Sunday option? Or are the majority of TV audience arm chair casuals?

I suspect there are under 100,000 playing or watching rugby on a Saturday. |

There's nothing wrong with the current format.
