Worrying signs on the south coast, captain Liam Perkins and Matt McLean have gone to local level 7 club Petersfield.
Jordan Turner-Hall and other coaches have left, what is going on?

After such a strong season, it is very worrying, especially to have heard no direct news from the club. could we become the latest team to fall through the trap door of semi-pro rugby trying to chase the dream

For the coaches could be as simple as tackle law. Both are involved at Quins so different game now perhaps!

Liam (34) and Matt (37) have retired from National League rugby and taken up coaching roles with Petersfield. Liam in particular has expressed his wish to return to Raiding as a coach when he has, in his words, "won his spurs". Both will always be welcome at The Rugby Park. JTH has moved on, his commitments with Quins have to be his main focus.

The remainder of the coaches have not left and the full coaching team, with some exciting new additions, will be announced in the next few days.

The club will not be falling through any trap doors.
If only Webb-Ellis hadn't given them the ball back!

Jack Forrest & curtis barnes to rosslyn park.
That’s two big losses!

Hopefully the new announcements will add some stability

Some big loses for Worthing. Also does not look good that the Worthing Awards night  was cancelled due to lack of interest !!

Seems an obvious move for Sam as he still lives in Sidcup so reducing travel by around an hour each way and Tom White cannot go on forever 😂😂

Good to see WORTHING have moved quick to get the coaching team announced for next year.

Question for Tyke…….can we assume the Harlequins academy tie up will continue ???

The problems with all academy players will be the new tackle height

Not necessarily the case Rabbie
Being young and not long out of age group rugby they are probably the best placed of all to adapt rather than a grizzled old second rower or the like
The point is will Quins want them to go between the differing law mandates hence my question

If they don't go to level 3 & 4 clubs (not sure if Championship is having the change or not?) they won't get much rugby, unless the Premiership A league is resurrected.

Hmmm........not signed in since April.

Steve......I am told that although Evans is indeed going to TJ's, which is a pity, Forrest and Barnes are staying ?  That would be very pleasing if so......also I think Jack F may be the new skipper ?

I notice that Hinch did not reply to the question as regards the relationship with Quins this season.  I wonder what is happening there.

I also wonder if we will have a second team this year, after finishing last season without ?

Barnes is at Park, I’ve heard a lot of petersfield boys have been approached about joining Worthing for the season, let’s see if £75 a week does the trick!

See TJs announced they have gained the services of Elliott Luke, Worthings hooker.

There are some very big holes to fill on the coast, it could be a very long season!

It is a surprise that all these guys have left bearing in mind where Worthing finished last year.

Have they also lost all the Quins pups as Turner Hall as gone as well ?
