Leicester Lions have six academy players from Leicester Tigers on dual registration, Harry Clarke and Malelili Satala have not yet played for the Lions this season, both did last season. Charlie Myall has also not yet played for the Lions this season, he did last season, Charlie Davies has played in both Lions games this season, Tom Threlful was on the bench at Stortford. George Pearson has just joined the Tigers academy in his first year and has just joined the Lions on DR, he too has played in both our games so far. Tabuna Maka has just signed on DR but has yet to appear at the club.
Northampton Saints players that have have signed DR contracts include Reuben Logan who played pre-season but has not played for the Lions in the league, same with Rafe Whiteat. Johnny Weiman was on the bench this weekend

Depends on how they are registered, there are ways around the system unfortunately. I’m not sure if the new version of GMS would prevent you breaking the regulations never had more than a couple of DRs in any season so never been a worry

I don’t know the breakdown between Loan and Academy but they had 8 and can have 9, so almost certainly not! I would check on the RFU Fixtures site but it’s still not working properly!

It’s more if a lot of loan players (in one squad) are good for the league. Don’t get me wrong Exeter have different players now who once played for Albion helping me understand the help it gives them. It’s good to know they played for us.
We visited Bridgend preseason and I read somewhere they are feeder to Ospreys so maybe it’s rugby now. Edited by Hills35 - 16 Sep 2024 at 00:06 |

A very nice message on the Darlington Mowden Park Facebook page from one of their supporters.
I know we look at it one game at a time but I thought it was nice for an opposing supporter to make such comments about our team: ——————————————————————— “I was very impressed with that Rotherham side, Harvey Biljon (Their coach from Jersey) has built a term in the image of Jersey, very big pack and proficient backs, in my view they will either be champions or runners up this season. Whilst we lost there were a lot of positives to build on, and I agree with Malcolm once we get confidence in ourselves and iron out our mistakes in training we will more than hold our own. Go Park!!!” ———————————————————————- Feet on the ground time and there are some quality teams in this league, but the start made has been excellent. |
