Cambridge have lined up England Under 20 for 11th January 2025 to fill in a blank cup weekend!

Hopefully this will attract a crowd of England as well Cambridge supporters wanting to see the world champions. At this early stage I've no idea as to how many of the 50 man Pathway squad will be first choice players. I don't know whether Chinnor will be offered a similar game later on in the Cup rounds.

Make a note in your diaries!

Reviewing the Championship website, the photo attached to the news item about the return of the Premiership Cup is of Cambridge, a team deemed unworthy by the RFU of taking part.

You can't make this stuff up.

Just spotted on 'TwitteX' - this game (not clear if it's part of a series) is scheduled for Fri 15/11

Chinnor RFC and
@camrufc
 are very pleased to announce their participation in the Not The Premiership Cup. In response to being excluded from this season's Premiership Cup the two exiled clubs will play for a trophy between themselves.
