Week 1 results

Blaydon 52 Macclesfield 32 (5-1 +10)

Billingham 22 Wirral 14      (4-0 -10)

Ilkley 7 Harrogate 36       (0-5 +10)

Lymm 24 Blackburn 19        (5-1 -10)

Morpeth 12 Carlisle 36      (0-5 +10)

Rossendale 36 Alnwick 10     (5-0 +10)

Sandal 35 Kirkby Lonsdale 12   (5-0 +10)


Try bonus point wins for Blaydon, Harrogate, Carlisle, Rossendale and Sandal, losing bonus point for Blackburn and a try bonus point for Macclesfield in their loss at Blaydon. Possible surprise of the round was Billingham not getting a bonus point in the win against Wirral, this was the game that the majority selected as double points banker!

Next weeks fixtures to follow.

The first weeks points have been totted up and the table is below.
 
Brilliant to have some new players this season and old faces returning, but we do seem to have lost a few and I would urge anyone who is tempted to play to post predictions for the next round of games s you are more than welcome.
 
It's really hard at the start of the season as we are working pretty much blind but half decent scores anyway with an average of 63.
