It's not often but feel proud to learn this evening that out of 54 players representing the seniors at Tring this weekend...44 of those have come through the colts
Not forgetting the 3 coaches.
A real tribute to the youth system

WR, been a long time since I visited Westcombe Park. From what I can remember, is the first team pitch still a yomp from the club house, and will I need full welly boots get up?

Carlos, it depends on when you last visited, but our pitch is to the right after you leave the clubhouse and up a slope. I guess the 'yomp' might have been when we were still using our old pitches and you may have done a diagonal left out of the clubhouse, to the corner of the ground then into the park then right through a gap to the top end of the pitch which had a big slope ?
.
Not sure it's a full welly day. If tends to get claggy rather than soaking and full of puddles.
.
Look forward to meeting up, but your lucky socks could be subject to a confiscation order.

I think I visited last when I was playing for Park House 4ths many many years ago! I'm guessing it would be 1980s.

Blimey, if it was in the eighties that would have been at our old clubhouse and grounds. Hope you have SATNAV

Convincing wins for Dorking and Sevenoaks, could end up being a 2 horse race, when do they play each other? Walsham could still get themselves there, Hertford probably out of the running?

Good win for WP, shame they started the season so poorly they could’ve been in the mixer the way they’ve pick up.

Looking at the fixture list, North Walsham have a great chance, with 5 of the last 7 games at home, including both Dorking and Sevenoaks having to make the long trip there as well.

It’s going to be close…

Though we definitely had the worse of the conditions, we got exactly what we deserved on Saturday.

I was left speechless by the attempted double miss passes, lack of nous, abysmal tackling etc.etc.

First rule of rugby: if your scrum is under the cosh, don't drop the ball. There must have been 40 scrums.

Credit to WP, deserved the win, though we claim best try of the day.

Good to meet you WR, see you next season.

Always a pleasure to meet fellow posters even though some don't put their head over the parapet. Pretty fair reflection I think. Our pack definitely stepped up from the week before so a muddy day this Saturday could do a few teams a favour. As for next season, who knows ? As has already been said, there's lots more rugby to come yet and we are clueless (like most) as to how the new leagues will take shape.

The older I get, the better I was.
