Exactly that, which is why I was surprised but this is no Andy Goode attempt to have something done - just surprised to see it on an official club site. Anyhow, on to the next games, just wishing Scottish were playing not relishing the thought of the bye…..

A lot of people (myself included) will talk of the injustices of the officiating, either on this type of forum or in the pubs and bars following the game. That is part of sport. If we aren't watching or playing it, we are talking about it.
Clubs, however, really should take a higher moral stance and respecting the officials is of paramount importance. The refs and TA's do sometimes have off days too (they are only human) and if a club has a genuine grievance, then there are channels for them to be noted and acted upon where necessary. I didn't see the game, but if the officials really did miss a tip tackle, then the guilty player should be cited. |

I totally agree with Brizzer, especially as we now have video evidence which can be used at a later date to right any obvious missed wrongs.
The referee at last Saturday's game between Ampthill and Jersey was Sara Cox and she was very good. No yellow cards. No red cards. And she kept order. I was particularly impressed with one of her decisions when she disallowed what appeared to be a perfectly good try by Jersey right under the posts.😎😎 |

I see it as being slightly one eyed, and smacks of sour grapes if that helps. But my highlighting it was that official websites of clubs ordinarily remain above calling the referee out to that extent. I do feel that Bedford played exceptionally well in the first half of the game and deserved the lead at half time, however it was a different story in the second half where the Knights closed it out. Did sir miss things, undoubtably, but not just one way as the Blues website seemed to claim - hence my sour grapes reference. What you can take from that game, is you have a very good squad, if it is kept together next season, you will do well with or without sir’s help.
