I know even less than usual so here goes

Cornish Pirates   1 - 4 Richmond

Well we are not Saracens

Coventry          4 - 1 Doncaster

really tough one to call

Ealing            5 - 0 Hartpury

enough said

London Scottish   0 - 4 Jersey

LS were solid against Mond but nothing more

Nottingham        4 - 1 Ampthill

Ampthill were a bit of a shambles against the Mond

know nothing about Notts

Ealing team for 1500 tomorrow against Hartpury: A tidy team, and a lot of continuity from last year (if not preseason?) in the backs and centres. Up front I'm very surprised to see Gibbons/Campher/White, with Malton (nailed on last year when Walker went down) on the bench and Will Davis not even in the 23.  Excited to see how Dylan Smith comes on - lots of experience in super rugby. Overall, should be enough to down Hartpury at home.

15 - D. Johnston
14- Kernohan
13 - Bodilly
12 - Howard
11 - Walker
10 - Willis
9 - Hampson
8 - Smid
7 - Uzokwe
6 - Al-Jiboori
5 - Casson
4 - De Wee
3 - Whye
2 - Campher
1 - Gibbons

Subs: 16- Malton, 17 - Smith 18. Thiede 19. Linsell 20. Northcote-Green 21. Burns 22. Bird Tolloch 23. Digby

Decent front row without being the absolute best Ealing can offer. Formidable back five in the pack with more to come off the bench. Great to see the Hampson-Willis brains trust return at 9/10. Not the fastest back five but highly skilful and a brick wall in defence (Hartpury will probably run in a hatful now I’ve said that!)
Disappointing not to see an Ealing +30 win.
Speak softly, but carry a big stick.

The final whistle has just blown in Nottingham.

Nottingham 36-26 Ampthill

Five tries to four.

A disappointing result but thank you to the excellent Twitter coverage from ARUFC. Credit due where credit deserved.

Attendance was 1,047.

Blimey. Nottm must've improved somewhat over the last three weeks.
