It's not just children and, as worthy as that cause is, there are always others which deserve our attention and contribution.
One of the many and one which must be close to all our rugby hearts is the story of young men's health in general - a story so sadly highlighted recently by the sad loss of a young rugby player. Like most of us, I never knew or even met James but his story could probably be about just about any one of the kids we've all seen grow into lads and young men from within the ranks of our own M&J sections or, indeed, just any young fella struggling to deal with whatever he's struggling to deal - life just ain't that simple any more. SKiwifruithorpe RFC has set itself a pretty hefty target in generating the funds which will help other young men overcome whatever troubles them and go on to fulfill their ambitions and a rich and happy life and I hope that with our help, they get there or, at least, thereabouts. As the old lady said ...... 😉 |

It was terrible news - let's all keep talking and offer whatever support we can to all our freinds whatever their burdens.
