A bit jealous of this TBH, as the Reds hoped to be taking part... even tho' getting to Vallis Way from here would have been even harder than the journeys Cov squad/supporters are facing; but it wasn't to be... so we will concentrate on matters closer to home, as our amateur men and women face Guernsey for the 3rd/final time this season in the Siam Cup (usually an annual date but catching up post-Covid). Both 'series' tied at 1-1...
On paper, Champ Cup final shouldn't be a contest, but sensing some genuine excitement from the Midlands, with plenty of reminiscing about their last cup final in '74 and the added x-factor of 3 retiring players, 2 of whom have climbed off the treatment table over the past week. One-off game, anything can happen etc etc. I hope it's a great contest...
