Here is my biased one eyed thoughts on todays events at Well Hall v Canterbury
Well who would have thought that TJs would do Blackheath a big favour and beat OAs although I doubt if they will see it that way but thanks so 9 points clear at the top but lots of games to go. Well first home game since the beginning of December so nice to be back plus the rain that was around all morning stopped in time for the game. The first converted try came within the first minute and the 4th by the 28th. Canterbury did put some pressure on the Club line but an outstanding first half defensive display kept them out and on zero at half time. After half time oranges Canterbury had the wind behind them and managed a couple of close scores as Blackheath gave away to many penalties and kept putting themselves under pressure but these were cancelled out by a couple for Blackheath. We will need to be a bit sharper over the next couple of weeks as we play the teams around us. Of to another new ground next week at Bury St Edmunds who have racked up a couple of decent wins since the Christmas break so no easy games ahead
