Sounds like the real Blues took their better players off - what happens in pre-season friendlies. Still, I would have expected a comfortable win for Cardiff. |

We actually brought some better players on! Temm, Atkinson and a few of the new boys impressed in the 2nd half - Wrafter from Moseley. The slope makes a difference and plus when you do not gift 12 points in the first few mins. It's not much of a drop in standard when you are bringing on players like Olly Robinson, Gill (former Saracens), Dacey (played 8 times for Wales). Biggest concern is that all 4 centres are currently out injured.

Got to agree, that is a worry, are they minor / major injuries? Will they be better by the start of the league games.....

I think league games they will be back (or at least 2), so it will be a case of getting through the cup. The only fit one was taken off with help in the 1st half. |

Well at least there is some light at the end of that tunnel - I hate to see injuries to players (although inevitable).
