Having bemoaned elsewhere the lack of rugby at Castle Park across this period - one home game in December and one in January with six weeks between them - it just made me wonder.  Kimbo rightly pointed out the pathetic and frankly irresponsible fixture planning by the RFU at this level.

Since I am innately lazy and can't be bothered to consult the full fixture matrix, how are other teams faring?

"May the farce be RFU."

Ealing had a game against Coventry on 2nd November and then nothing until 30th November. Painful. And I've just noticed that we somehow only have one home game in January as well. FFS.

Blues has a home league game on 9th November, 1 cup game on 7th December before the next league game on Boxing Day.  Mind you the way we are playing it's a bit of a relief!!

London Scottish had a league game against Pirates at Home on 15th November. We don't have another home game until 10th January ! You couldn't make it up Angry

As many of you will know, there are tried and tested formulae around which can put out fixtures in a fair and meaningful way for teams ....... until interference gets in the way. Then the problems start !

Whilst the RFU won't get a grip on this, they are heavily swayed by various club individuals. The ultimate power in this seems to lie with the chairman of the Championship Clubs Committee. End of.

Carnegie are at "home" (West Park) this Saturday and then welcome Donny to Headingley on Sunday 22nd. Our next home game is 19th January against Newcastle. Ho ho bleedin' ho.
That's easy for you to say.

Ealing vs. Ampthill was similar. The cup is rubbish.
