If, Level 5 went to 14 teams, then it would need 12 additional clubs. I wonder how Level 6 supporters (if any are on this forum) feel? Would need 36 clubs going up. Although reading the ideas elsewhere of another restructure at level 2, 3, 4…feels like English Rugby Union constantly changing things. Yet Football at top level has kept to 92 sides for 30 years. |

The older I get, the more the RFU leave me confused.

Or they could’ve just reduced L3 & 4 to 14 from the previous 16 staying just N & S and kept L5 as it was with 4 leagues into 2, just reduce the number of games at National League level from 30 to 26

They already have done - only splitting 2 divisions into 3 at L4. Why they didn't sort out Premiership and Championship levels before this I have no idea. |

I wonder if they'll start looking at redrawing the leagues for the next season shortly after the Pizza Trophy has finished?

The south east bit is slightly misleading as no teams south of the river 😂

Can’t see a reason to start a new thread.
Back from Putnoe Woods, where Bedford Ath lost to Sudbury. 24 -31. Sudbury deserved the win, but Ath attempted to make a game of it, despite trailing 0 - 21 after 30 minutes. Off field cosmetic work to the clubhouse over the summer a lick of paint and removal of the decking. Still £5 entrance far cheaper than local football clubs, charging £10.

Is it me being daft or have Tring gone down the South African route and officially renamed themselves after a sponsor?

Be interesting to see if the additional funds translates to performances. Their current squad lists don’t look drastically different

Hopefully! It would be nice if a club at lower level showed the pro clubs how to invest correctly, however, hard to not invest in players though when short term success can get more profile/sponsorship/money.
Be nice if they levelled their pitch! |

Short term ? I heard three year deal. Long game played here.
If you are paying players at this level, then for them to leave move to the next level next season for free, then your energy money is misdirected. Good luck chasing the white whale. Teach them how to make gold ex Tring England 10 Zoe Harrison Et al. Sorry Cannot level the pitch, it would be easier for visitors , need at least one vice now the hot water is fixed. Good luck to all for the season.

Tring's tie up with Huel is interesting.
Dragon's Den Stephen Bartlett was a rugby player (Plymouth Albion) and is a director at Huel. Huel based in Tring.

"Welcome to Dragon's Den, today can Tring Rugby Club get an investment in exchange for some blatant product placement?"
