[Usual corona disclaimer: I know this isn't as important as some of the terrible stuff happening both at home and across the globe. But we need sport, or some prospect of it, to keep us going...]

The ending of the season has been difficult for most of us in many respects, & not knowing when it might resume is frustrating, but for those of us at any level below the Prem, it seems slightly easier and slightly clearer than at tier 1, where they are desperate to complete the season somehow (huge financial implications if not involving - a.o. - TV revenue, matchday income, showpiece final) even if it stretches way into summer. This is causing considerable headaches for those due to move club at the recognised 'year-end' of June 30th... see link:

How true this is remains to be seen...but I have seen some experts from both the US and Europe who think concerts and events could remain banned until NEXT Autumn.

That would create a huge problem for RFU and PRL. They could potentially still play behind closed doors matches to keep the TV income, but the loss of all their other revenue streams would be huge. Could CVC use this as an opportunity to basically take over the running of rugby?
