You are right as Dings do play on an artifical pitch. 

I also think most games across Nat 1 and Nat 2 will be postponed by this time tomorrow if not due to be played on artificial surfaces. I'd say it's doubtful that Ampthill will get their already rearranged Champ fixture vs Hartpury on either.

Bracknell (Level 5) moved their home game vs Jersey to nearby Maidenhead RFC last weekend (artificial pitch) at pretty late notice. I'd hope National League clubs could take a leaf out of their book if able to, but may be less keen to due to the clear losses in normal hospitality and matchday takings that would incur.

We were very grateful for the 'can-do' approach of both Bracknell and Maidenhead, working to find a solution to what could have been a massive financial cost if a team's flights operate as scheduled but the game couldn't be played. The prospect of the move was set up on Thurs PM but there was an agreement to allow Bracknell to delay final decision until mid-morning on Saturday when the Jersey flight landed at Southampton.

Maidenhead were very accommodating, including setting up a live-stream and delaying their 2nd XV game by quarter of an hour while our game finished.

Regional 1 SC sent a directive out this week saying that clubs must make all steps possible to ensure a game is played at the second time of asking, including - if necessary - moving it to the away team's home ground if that is passed fit. Not aware of a similar directive for N1/N2.

Happily we aren't travelling this w/e - CS Stags are flying to the Island and Saturday looks chilly (7c) but ok...
