Greetings Rugby Fans around the world & beyond and a Happy New Year to one and all.

It is nice to be talking about on the field matters instead of the shambles off it.

Another round of scintillating Rugby from the best league in England awaits.

First up in this weekends feast of entertainment is a London derby between two teams who need a win for differing reasons. Richmond who lead the field by just one point have an early opportunity to ensure they remain top of the pile for at least another week, by hosting relegation threatened Esher at the Athletic ground. Kick off is 7.30 & updates will be made available this evening.

The remaining games all start tomorrow, with kick off times as shown below, and, happily we shouldn’t have any problems with adverse weather.

Tomorrows games:

2pm

Rotherham Titans v Sale FC

2.30 pm

Sedgley Park v Leicester Lions

3 pm

Blackheath v Birmingham Moseley

3 pm

Plymouth Albion v Bishops Stortford

3 pm

Rams v Dings Crusaders

3pm

Rosslyn Park v Darlington MP

For most teams it will be their first game for four weeks, so will be interesting to see which teams get off to a blistering start & which teams (if any) might be ring rusty.

Early team news from the home camps:

Richmond v Esher

Roth v Sale

Sedgley Park v Leicester Lions

Blackheath v Birmingham Moseley

Plymouth Albion v Bishops Stortford

Rams v Dings Crusaders

Rosslyn Park v Darlington MP

As always good luck to all teams and safe travels to all supporters.

Updates will follow on a different thread.

Thanks Rothman and you are right, it is the best league in England. The Roth v Sale northern derby and evenly poised Blackheath v Moseley matches catch the eye most this week. Sedgley Park v Lions has a lot at stake in the relegation battle that will be coming and Rams v Dings could be a high scoring affair too. We should be in store for a great second half of the season.
