Fine result for Caldy.
Not so much for Cambridge.

Cov now 24-12 up following an early pen.

3033 at the BPA.
(That's the attendance, not the score! 😉).

FT Blues (5) 45-24 (0) Ampthill

Regret changing my prediction now!

Ampthill came back into the game as Blues didn’t see much of the ball.

It’s a better result than we normally get at Coventry, but 6 defeats in 11 league games for the Knights is nowhere near good enough. We’re 7th in the table when the expectation before the season was a minimum top 4 finish. Questions should be asked.

Yes DOR Mr Lavery has given notice to the club that he will be leaving, i believe this will be at the end of this current season.

I've been told by friends/aquaintances that I mustn't gloat
So I'll not comment on predictions for this week
Nottingham faithful were magnanimous in defeat
Thorougly deserved victory for The Ravers Clap
I wonder what se7en will have to say about it LOL

Haha I'd have taken the advice from your friends/acquaintances as hubris is not an attractive quality.

Nonetheless, the mighty Paton Field effect has delivered a second win, and for that The Ravers must be mightily relieved. I trust that an abundance of Pot Noodles were consumed by way of celebration.

What is slightly more stark is that in the last calendar year of competetive fixtures, Caldy's track record reads - Won 4, Lost 24. In rugby, the numbers and league table never lie.

The real question now is, are Caldy capable of winning on the road? The last time they did was at Ampthill in December 2023! Next week's Clash of the Titans at Cambridge is a very important fixture indeed.

Yes Doncaster probably should have been the challengers to Ealing with what appears to be the 2nd biggest turnover in the league. Harvey Biljon is at Rotherham... not far for him to go to Doncaster. If I were Knights board member I would be trying to tempt him.
