Leaving the game astonished OEs did not win. They totally dominated Richmond in the second half despite playing a man down for most of the match. OEs missed three kicks at goal in the dying stages to win the match. Fantastic performance against the league leaders, but a shame about the result. |

Mond lucky to win. The conditions were appalling and the ball was dropped all over the place. The kicks OEs missed were long ones and risky. Poor decision to take them after the first failure. In spite of having numerous penalties in their favour towards the end they fluffed a couple of line outs so that was that. The wind was mighty and played a big part. It’s called winning ugly.
