FT Esher 34 Roth 68

Going for a lie down after I tell you Zak Poole got Roths tenth try.
Many congratulations to Zak on breaking Roths all time try scoring record. He needs the try to pass the great John Dudley’s total. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

Two matches full of tries it seems!

Well done to Blackheath and Rotherham but I have to say, how on earth did Esher lose 34 - 68 having been 31 - 12 up at half time. Rotherham must have been scoring at quite a rate to win the second half 56 - 3! Got to love Nat 1 rugby.

It was 31-7 a minute before half time. Callum Bustins try right on HT was a biggy & then Roth hit them with 3 tries in 9 minutes ant the start of the second half and then pulled away.
Roth have a reputation for being a big second half team and Esher couldn’t live with our power. This is a remarkable team. Zak Pooles try at the end also broke a longstanding try scoring record set by the great John Dudley many years ago. This really put the icing on the cake on an ultimately wonderful afternoon.

Thank you everyone for your kind comments.

This something I love doing.

Great being in contact with likeminded people across the country who love this great game.

This board is a great platform for promoting how alive and well the game is below the Premiership, and I fervently believe with more publicity, that more people may be persuaded to get out there and see not only great Rugby game but see what a great experience it is, in terms of meeting people and visiting some great clubs.

Roth have given me more sporting pleasure over the last 30 years than I could have imagined and it is a privilege to help in some way. With the technology these days and X and Facebook feeds, live games, some people might think that what is the point of a message board, but with the updates I would like to think it is a means of consolidating all the scores in one place, a sort of a one stop shop if you like, whilst at the same time engaging with fans of the game & of course other clubs.
Long may it continue.

Back to the specifics, I have just compiled a posting regarding the run in and race for the title, to the end of the season so everyone can see what we have to look forward to between now and the end of April. I will post this later.

This is a fantastic league and as I always say, good luck to all teams.
