Anyone heard anything further? Sounds like things have kind of settled down on the playing side of things, certainly as much as they can do given the situation.

Purely on results I would suggest yesterday showed things haven't settled on the playing side. Prior to this DMP seem to have been fairly competitive in most games this year but losing 75-0 to the team just above you at the bottom of the table looks like a big drop-off.

You do a great disservice to DMP, having to make financial adjustments, so some players have left, but those who stayed are doing the best. They never gave up and stuck at it, the Lions are fighting for league survival, so were clearly up for it at home. They were so close to winning last week at Rosslyn Park, had the tries been converted, it might have been a different story, the Lions have had some close games and are scoring tries, just not been finding that killer finish yet.

DMP are having a very tough time at the moment. Clubs go through time like this and sometimes things all build up and you have a very difficult result to deal with. DMP have been a solid Nat 1 team for years and will come back stronger.

Unfortunately off field issues have an affect on On Field performances. DMP have been loosing a lot of players and ex / older players have had to come into the squad to make up numbers. Taliti Vaioletti playinf well into his 40's etc. Roth have signed one of their props. This causes disruption and will have an impact on results.

Lions are a great side and are probably in a bit of a false position. They have been on the wrong side of some tights games and could well be higher up the league if you give them a few tries / kicks in the right moments.

Roth had a difficult few years when we dropped from the champ down to league 2 and are coming back strong again.

Clubs go through seasons, DMP are in a Winter but spring will come and things will level out. Keep the faith DMP it isn't over yet. Sometimes a season or 2 in a lower league can help refresh things and help you build a new squad to move forward!

Keep those heads high DMP!

Well said Chris. Good luck to them and also to Garry Law.
