What a fantastic end to the season we have in store, the run-in for the top 5 teams looks like this:

7/8 March
Birmingham Moseley v Richmond 
Sedgley Park v Rams
Bishops Stortford v Rosslyn Park 
Plymouth Albion v Rotherham 

15th March
Rosslyn Park v Birmingham Moseley 
Rotherham v Sedgley Park 
Blackheath v Rams
Richmond v Plymouth Albion 

22nd March
Sedgley Park v Richmond 
Plymouth v Rosslyn Park 
Rams v Rotherham 

4/5 April  
Richmond v Rams 
Darlington Mowden Park v Plymouth 
Blackheath v Rotherham 
Rosslyn Park v Sedgley Park 

12th April 
Rotherham v Richmond 
Plymouth v Esher
Rams v Rosslyn Park 

26th April 
Darlington Mowden Park v Rams 
Richmond v Blackheath 
Rosslyn Park v Rotherham 
Sale FC v Plymouth 

Looking at the remaining games I think Plymouth are the real bolters here given the form that they are in. If they win their next two games then I think they could pull off something miraculous. Their last 4 games look favourable on paper compared to the other top teams. I’d still have Richmond as slight favourites but it’s very tight. The only thing that makes me question Roth’s chances is those 4 away games they’ve got. They probably need 3 wins out of the 4 and that’s going to be very difficult. Rams aren’t out of it but their form is heading in the wrong direction. RP will be absolutely rueing that loss to Esher a few weeks ago, being 7 points behind and not 12 would have made a big difference.

As a Plymouth fan, I was on the bus home after the last round, my view going into what was the top 3 matches in a row was see where we are after them. If anything in terms of getting into the top 3, any wins could help finishing as high as possible.

Since losing to all three by a score earlier in the season it’s felt they have been an arms length away and not seen Plymouth as contenders.

Recently seeing top of the table Richmond's 12 point lead over us and they’ve kept winning, it’s felt in theory two games away but would Richmond lose that many points. 

I mentioned one of the few scenarios that after all three could see us in a position with the gap closed and a chance of a push. A long to go on that note. 

With the winning run, comes the nice feeling either way is an enjoyable one. Rotherham was a fixture to look forward to either way.

I would suggest this is different in listing the fixtures rather than the league, I'm sure both will be used by those who have vested interests. We could start another one for the battle for survival, sort of reflected in the Rothman post, but certainly would be very different.

Still Roth for me, they have an all important home game against Richmond. I think between these two but who really wants to go up . . . look how Cambridge and Chinnor have been treated!

The fixture list is most interesting, Rotherham have 4 tricky away fixtures, they could lose them all, Rams have DMP, other than that all tough fixtures which they could also lose. There are some potential cliff hangers in what has been an epic season for this league. I'm glad Leicester Lions are now clear of fixtures with those on contention, you never know we might get a few points yet.

Can’t understand why another thread has been started.

In starting this thread I published the league table and my next posting was a grid with the teams and dates the top 6 were playing!!!!!
