A very good Afternoon Rugby fans from around the world and beyond. Welcome to another exciting weekend in which we will cover seven exciting games from the best league in England.

Tomorrow’s games are:

14:00

Rosslyn Park v Birmingham Moseley

14:00

Rotherham Titans v some Team from over the Pennines 😜

14:30

Sale FC v Dings Crusaders

14:45

Esher v Leicester Lions

15:00

Blackheath v Rams

15:00

Darlington MP v Bishops Stortford

15:00

Richmond v Plymouth Albion

This could be a pivotal weekend at the top of the league and certainly for teams at the bottom.

Let’s have a look at the top of the League and remind ourselves where we are:

Richmond have extended their lead to five points but face another massive test of their title credentials in welcoming an in form Plymouth Albion, who have now won 10 games on the trot.
A win for Richmond would be massive for them and put Plymouth out of the promotion race, whereas a win for Plymouth still leaves them in with a chance, given the remaining games left.

Roth, who were edged out by Plymouth themselves last weekend and had to play the last thirty or so minutes with only 14 men due to Zak Poole receiving two yellow cards in the game, therefore being upgraded to a red. It swung the pendulum very much in the home teams favour but Roth fought back well to gain a losing bonus point to take back to the favoured side of the Pennines 😜

Roth face another stiff challenge from a side who are inform themselves. They gained two very creditable points from a 38-35 loss to Plymouth, and last week came back from 21 points down to beat Rams 34-33. Indeed in the reverse fixture with Roth, Sedge were 27-17 up at one point, before Roth came back to win 35-30. This is a must win for Roth, and, subject to the Richmond result, defeat would be a major blow to any chance of overhauling Richmond. By the way the team from over the Pennines is apparently a team called Sedgley Park Tigers, and not Sale FC ….just in case you didn’t know. 😜

Let’s now look at the bottom of the table:

Darlington will be relegated if they lose but could even win and be relegated if Esher beat Leicester Lions.
Leicester Lions really need to win at Esher who are really the only team they could theoretically catch but ideally would need to win with a bonus to nil to put themselves within 4 points of Esher with four games to go.

As always good luck to all teams. Team news will follow as will score updates as they become available from 2pm tomorrow on this thread.

By the way, apparently there are some International so called 6 Nations games taking place tomorrow. You would have thought they would all have been switched to Sunday to avoid fixture clashes with our league. πŸ€ͺ
