Quite a few leagues can be wrapped up numerically this week, from a neutral perspective it may be exciting if there was a little drama this weekend so the final week is exciting

Although I don't see London Welsh dropping any points this weekend albeit a local derby so may need to keep a keen eye on the other leagues

Just seen that Bruce Elliot has decided to put down the matchday camera and watch Tunbridge Wells  from the outside of the pitch barriers after all these years..well earned several beers on the house I reckon Clap

Welsh need 3 points to be mathematically certain, but their pts diff is so much greater than our's (Jersey) that 2 would effectively do it...

Our main concern was OAs getting here from Heathrow with BA... fortunately they landed slightly early about an hour ago, so game on!

Congrats to LW on winning the league after 31-17 win at Wimbledon...

Jersey v OA was quite a game, with lead changing hands several times in 2nd half. We began it 14-12 up, then an OA penalty 14-15, then we scored a converted try around 51 mins 21-15, then a converted try from OA with 12ish left 21-22 and almost immediately they scored a 4th try but the conversion about 10m in from touch was timed out so 21-27. Jersey attack saw Aaron Penberthy cross under the posts & converting for 28-27 but then a penalty just over 40m out gave visitors chance to win it - looked like it was heading over, but hit post and was eventually cleared & FT. Palpitations...

Cheers Tom. It was a tough afternoon at Wimbledon, they had about 80% territory and possession in the second half, 25 minutes of which we played with 14 men due to three yellows. But we protected our 14 point half-time lead and despite the gnawing of fingernails on the touchline we held out. It's been an incredible season and while I've been surprised that certain teams rolled over a bit too easily, especially at ODP,  we've had some tough games, not least of all against Jersey who I'm sure will dominate the league next year.

Looks very exciting at the bottom - Brighton have finally found some form (is that three wins from three?) and with TW visiting Jersey on the final day it's all to play for. I think Blues have been rock bottom all season, so if they could survive on the final day it would supersede Japan's win at the Amex in 2015 as the Miracle of Brighton!

Yes - still a live issue at the bottom, with all 3 contenders away from home...

Brighton (30pts) at Hammers, Horsham (34) at Maidenhead & TW (35) flying to Jersey. I believe wins is the tie-breaker? In which case TW (6) would have the edge over Horsham (5) & Brighton (4)

Brighton, go for a 5 point win & then fingers crossed.
Any good pubs around Putney, Hammers & Fulham area?

There is still a 'lucky loser' opportunity for one 11th-placed side at tier 5 to avoid relegation due to the expansion of the Championship. Currently Percy Park from R1NE would get this reprieve, but looks as if the other five R1 leagues could all claim the spot on April 5th if results fall their way. How extraordinary if Horsham did this two years running?

If only it were that simple.

They bounce between midlands and sw leagues every few years.

Congratulations London Welsh, very well deserved throughout the entire season

Amazing result at Horsham and yes islander it would be incredible if Horsham escape in the final day two years in a row both times beating big teams at home
