Decent fight back from the Cov side when an absolute drubbing looked on the cards.
Nearly evened up at the death when only a pass adjudged forward denied a further Cov try. Two points is two more than I expected.

10 mins to go at Ealing with a longish injury stop at the moment.

Watched it on YouTube, fantastic 2nd half from the Blues, Ealing seemed to go off in the 2nd 40 and we took full advantage. We certainly seem to be a 2nd half team this season, credit to the fitness team for conditioning, Ealing looked like they were flagging, we looked much fresher.
Less said about the commentators on the live stream the better, but thank you for putting it on, much appreciated.

I want you all to line up in a circle and pair up in three's alphabetically by height.

Having swapped sides at half time to watch us run in the tries, even though Ealing had the wind with them, the sun was awkward. It looked like the Ealing player dropped the ball from 100m away. If only we hadn’t have lost a couple and we’d be pushing Ealing at the top.
Blues weren’t their expansive best but got the job done. It seems more of those profits from Trailfinders are required to beat semi-pro teams.

One of the Ealing tries in the 2nd half was directly in front of me and amazingly the touch judge. The winger dropped the ball whilst trying to ground it one handed from about knee height. Still gave it though. Not sure what Ealings game plan was? A better scrum, much more powerful in the rucks and mauls, yet hardly ever did it? Peculiar

Blues Fans wanting to know why every away game cannot be shown. Seems understanding of broadcast rights has eluded many Blues supporters.

That was amusing, but the Announcer using the same gag 4 or 5 times during the afternoon about floodlights bored me a bit I have to say. It’s my personal opinion, but it just felt a bit unnecessary. Overall, I thought it was a scrappy, bitty game, not helped by quite a stiff breeze. There was a lot of loose play by both sides. Despite the score, Chinnor were very competitive and if they had taken one of the number of opportunities they created in the first 20 minutes and got in front then it could have been a different game. As it was, Donny were clinical when they had to be and took the 5 points. Edit: I knew I should have gone with my gut instinct and backed Bedford to turn over Ealing!. That was a great result for Blues.
