Scotland pulled the equivalent of the Champ/Nat 1 till the Spring of 2021 yesterday 

The FOSROC Super6 Sprint Series, which had a scheduled start date of 31 October, will now not take place. The FOSROC Super6 teams will now work towards a full fixture card in the spring of 2021.

I’ve heard that too from a reliable source. I am expecting a big announcement on Monday or Tuesday which may include that.

I had thought about a 15 game season in 2 pools of 8 to solve the Home/Away issue and came up with:
Split the competition into SE/others (or other way you can split geographically - outer London / others perhaps)
Play the other 7 teams in your pool home and away (14 games)
15th game is an intra-pool game against your counterpart from the other pool. Top of A plays Top of B for 1st/2nd, 2nd in A plays 2nd in B for 3rd/4th.
Top team in each pool play off for champion and promotion spot, bottom team in each pool goes down and 7th team in each pool play off for 3rd relegation place 13th / 14th.
To decide where each 15th game gets played, you do a Strength of Schedule comparison, where beating the side 2nd in your pool is worth more than beating the 8th side.

Can't see it happening but until we hear next week we're all just speculating. Any chance to watch some rugby before next September I would be happy for though.

I have no problem with that so long as it is only a 16 game season, it would not solve the problem if you plan to have the two pools of 8.

You can set it up so that does not happen. You start by setting that round, then construct the others, and therefore everyone who is at home in the first round will have played an extra home game so will need to be away - which they when you repeat that round. Then move the round that was first to be last.
