Harry Potter is an excellent player, a key player in the Leicester Tigers title winning side.

Lost a lot of momentum when Genge, Furlong & Curry were substituted.
Oz will be a lot better next week ergo so must the Lions.

That was very flat for a Lions game.

Agree with all of the above. Decent first half if not slightly wasteful in the backs. Forward pack very good, aside from a couple of scrum pens.
Second half very average. Should have kept Finn Russell on for the duration, although perhaps sensible resting such a key player when game was won. The match petered out for the Lions. Should have had closer to 40 points if they'd kept up the quality and intensity. A win is a win and it'll be a 3 - 0 whitewash I believe, but that ought to be tempered with the fact that Australia are a considerable distance behind SA and the All Blacks in quality in terms of the southern hemisphere.

Owen Farrell and James Ryan on the same bench...
That's a lot of penalties to risk. Referee Piardi was ref for Leinster's victories in URC semi and final this year.

At least if the Lions concede a shedload of penalties it might make a game of it!

Didn’t see a problem with Morgan’s clear out But then he grabbed Australian players legs and yanked him to the ground Is that not tackle without the ball However Russell should have gone for drop goal.
But as you say TB great test match

Probably, given daddy is the coach. I think some of the missed conversions will probably be the justification for it. (In seriousness, I know I make the "daddy's boy" jokes here but I do like Owen and I think its great he is proving the haters wrong in every Lions appearance)

Out of the 10's available, the two "Finns" have not been barnstorming, ok, but not fantastic Marcus has lost a lot of form, so I would not be too surprised if young Fazlet was picked.

i think that the Morgan clear out Debate will roll and roll especially in Australia. However I think that the issue with any Ruck and Maul is the clear out full stop. Only once did the referee penalise either side for reckless charging in and taking players off the side all of which must be off side as they had gone beyond the back foot. There were incidents in the first teat when Australian players took players who were not bound off to create holes for players to run through. It is becoming a "Grey area" which the referees are struggling to Manage
