I'd be happy with a top 11 finish!

This league is a quantum leap up from what we've recently experienced.

Shings stepped down as backs coach when he took on the role at Ealing Women last season. Bell was skills coach and appears to have given that up but is staying on as a player.

I am told Tony, that the pitch can be like a quagmire in the winter, not like the super pitch down at Havant.  Getting the balance between investment in facilities, encouraging youth, minis, girls and running a semi pro team is not easy as we all know.

lets hope nobody dies shall we GJ 3 as you seem full of knowledge - as that does tend to affect things!!

Indeed their pitch can be somewhat boggy especially when the Nene donates 10000000 litres to it during the (extended) rainy season.

Let's hope they're neighbours 15miles away provides some insight into what a climb can do, Peterborough Lions did a similar rise and then dropped off and are kicking around level 6/7.

If it happens again we can consider it a Peterborough curse

Not sure if this is a typo, or attempt at satire?!

Latest signings from Henley:

Henley Hawks are delighted to welcome the first raft of new signings to the club for the 2025/26 season including the return of influential centre Connor Hayhow.

Hayhow, brother of Hawks hooker Spencer, was at the club for two stints between 2016 and 2018 and his return will add significant firepower to the Hawks midfield.

The experienced centre has spent the last two seasons at Camberley in London & South East The League once known as the The League once known as the Premiership iership ier, but before that plied his trade at London Scottish and Rosslyn Park before signing for Rams in National One.

Joining Hayhow in Henley colours will be Guernsey Raiders Supporters' Player of the Season Jack Colbourne. Covering several positions across the backline, Colbourne is a real coup for the Hawks having been in excellent form for the Channel Islanders last season. He even scored against Henley at Dry Leas in the Hawks 26-15 victory over the Raiders last November.

Completing the trio of new signings, we also welcome second row Ben Elsey. Having represented Nottingam University as well as Harlequins U18's, Elsey will add significant height to the Hawks lineout.

Henley Hawks Director of Rugby Luke Allen commented on the trio of new signings, 'I am delighted to welcome Connor, Jack and Ben to Henley and very much look forward to them showcasing their skills in front of Henley supporters when our pre-season fixtures commence in August. We are putting together a really exciting squad that I have no doubt will be challenging at the top of National 2 East come April next year'.
