Gareth, if you’re referring to “The P Share” post of July 31st posted by “the Forum”, then it isn’t a discussion because the post stands alone with no responses.
It was put there by the moderator to clarify the history of how P shares have been allocated and redistributed, and to lay out the various options going forward. To describe this as a discussion as to how and when Worcester might regain P share is big stretch.

It's a week-old thread in the forum, with the words "What do you think? You can have your say by posting below." OK, nobody has responded yet. We all know what's happening here : the increase in the number of teams, the contrived playoff arrangements to ensure no egg-on-face if you don't finish first, and the cherry-picking of which bits of the old organisation there's an appetite to be associated with. You and I aren't going to agree on the merits or otherwise of allowing Worcester to rejoin the English pyramid at Level 2. We have 13 rugby clubs in the Championship on merit, and a parachuted-in franchise.

As you say, we will just have to agree to disagree.No problem with that.
But it's not a franchise.....that's not up for discussion. It's just not. McDonalds and Subway are a franchise.

I just want to say I don’t have any issue with the supporters of Worcester at all. The rule makers make the rules and kicking and screaming about how unfair it all is, is not going to get us anywhere.
All I would ask is that this is essentially a message board so let’s try to keep it civil and be respectful to all teams. Thank you. |
