Sounds like the real Blues took their better players off - what happens in pre-season friendlies.

Still, I would have expected a comfortable win for Cardiff.

We actually brought some better players on! Temm, Atkinson and a few of the new boys impressed in the 2nd half - Wrafter from Moseley.  The slope makes a difference and plus when you do not gift 12 points in the first few mins.

It's not much of a drop in standard when you are bringing on players like Olly Robinson, Gill (former Saracens), Dacey (played 8 times for Wales).

Biggest concern is that all 4 centres are currently out injured.

Got to agree, that is a worry, are they minor / major injuries? Will they be better by the start of the league games.....

I think league games they will be back (or at least 2), so it will be a case of getting through the cup. The only fit one was taken off with help in the 1st half.

Well at least there is some light at the end of that tunnel - I hate to see injuries to players (although inevitable).
