North Walsham             CS Stags 1863    5-0    Can't see CS getting anywhere near NW (I have been wrong before though!)

Seven Oaks                       Havant      1-5    No clue but Hav seem comfortable so far.

Sutton and Epsom       Sidcup       2-5    Ditto but S&E seem to be taking some time to get going.

Tring                                 Maidenhead    5-0   Has the level transfer curse struck Maidenhead? Would be a shame, but Tring need the points.

Tunbridge Wells                 Brighton        5-2   No clue, gone with home team.

Wimbledon                        Westcombe Park     5-0   Only one winner here judging on past results.

I notice on the RFU website that points deductions didn't seem to have been applied. Are there appeals going on or is it just the webmaster being slow?

Good luck all.

Both games have been appealed.

Watched my first game of the season at Sutton yesterday, 31 - 31 very entertaining, i'm guessing Sidcup will feel they did enough to win the game, but fair play to Sutton who never gave up.
Very impressed with Sidcup's scrum and line out where they looked very well drilled, and perhaps if they'd played a tighter set piece game they would have made it very uncomfortable for Sutton, but in fairness both teams got the ball wide at every opportunity and made it an enjoyable afternoon. Sutton were definitely more dangerous in broken play and moved the big Sidcup pack around with quick tap penalties, probably the first time this season the coaches have had the majority of the first XV squad to pick from, just hope they can maintain that, great entertainment.
Anyone know on what grounds Civil Service are appealing against our walkover win (5 points), they failed to fulfil a fixture, simple surely ?

I guess the only way Sutton and Epsom are going to get 5 points this season is by teams pulling out with illness. Only joking! Same excuse Tring had at Dorking. Just let's play the games in the spare week, and we will end up with a full integrity league.

What a league this is going to be! Down at the refurbished Big Field on Saturday, the Dorks were given a serious test from their old friends Hertford. Hertford had a very lumpy pack and they certainly know what they are doing at this level. Interesting to see they have Craig Bellringer starting at tight head for them. Craig has played for a variety of clubs at this level over the past few years. His most recent being CS rugby, which perhaps part explains their FR issues of late. I'd be interested to hear the views on journeymen in this league, and if there are any others knocking about.
Cheers for now.
Stu
