I've watched a couple of games - the finals that were played at Trailfinders Sports Club three or four years ago, and a Wasps game at Twyford Avenue. I enjoyed the games, and will happily tune it. Now, if we could just get the Championship ANY form of TV deal, I'd be happier.

That would require 11 old farts to have a clue.
The rumours were they were offered  deal, but it involved playing on a Thursday - and they decided gate receipts were more important.

My guess is that given there will be no RFU support next year, Scottish will run North, we will move to five on the bench and interchanges to save money. However, it will create one of the most competitive seasons ever, with the five or seven promoted sides upsetting the apple cart - with even Pirates not getting worried at times.

Actually, given Bath have gone a third of the season without looking like winning, I honestly think they should be made to play off against the second side in the Championship - before the Premiership get to pull up the drawbridge. I mean Pirates could not do any worse.

Little atmosphere as I watch Saracens v Bristol.

Am sure a number of Championship or National 1 clubs could sound better.
Looking forward to new beginnings.

You know what National 1 looks like as you watch the league round-up show - don't you.

I understand there are half price subscriptions available for those who have not yet joined and want to watch the second half of the season. Just head to ncarugby.org.

And no, I am not on commission.
