Bedford Ath start away at Tring.
I guess I need to find out where the Natural History Museum is in Tring and make a day of it.
Looking forward to new beginnings.

The Tring museum is well worth a trip, but if you visit before kick-off, you might miss the match.

Does anybody have any information on how relegation and promotion will work at Regional 1 level?

As I understand it the top teams go up and the bottom teams come down, then all the leagues are put back into the blender and redrawn, meaning sides on the borders of two leagues can end up in a different league, but it is not level transfer.

Two teams down from each of the three National 2 leagues into Regional 1.
Champions only up from Regional 1 to National 2.
Two teams down from each of the six Regional 1 leagues to Regional 2.
Champions only up from Regional 2 to Regional 1.

It's common knowledge that there is only one team up from each league.

That already kills entertainment and competitiveness with a 1 up-1 down concept. The playoffs at least gaev the teams that finished 2nd something to fight for and defend

Yep its 1 up only, which narrows the aperture for aspiring clubs. As for the seasons end, all teams are throw up in the air and the leagues redrawn again every season.

Level transfers then - just not called that any more and a sneaky way of removing the appeals process - not that anyone ever won an appeal anyway

If that’s the case it would be jolly decent if the RFU to let players and supporters know.
