A major banana skin averted but Roth navigated it.
A thoroughly deserved bonus point for Fylde.
Roth 4 tries & Fylde 3.

Don't see much rugby nowadays, but had the opportunity to go to Otley v Wharfedale which was played in a good spirit. Dale had extra class and speed in attack and rarely looked under any pressure.
Hope the otley player who appeared to receive a head wound in the second half causing a lengthy delay is OK.
A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon

I must admit Leeds are in imperious form and it’s certainly theirs to lose.
They still have difficult looking games at Wharfedale ( the only team to date to deny them a bonus) Fylde and of course Roth, and of course we have to keep winning so still all to play for.

76 pts scored at Brantingham Park yesterday, resulting in a draw which neither Club wanted.
Two average teams trying their best to get a win, in a match which was  ruined by the penalty count. Mr Jones' interpretation of what is a high tackle is different from every other ref we have seen this season and, as a consequence, the game was littered with needless penalties. Mr Jones was nothing but consistent in his poor interpretation and he capped it by Yellow carding the smallest, lightest lad on the field because he dared to try and hold someone up in the tackle. Pathetic really.
Be sure, Mr Jones will continue to ruin games unless his superiors have a word with him.
