Nottingham 5 v 1 London Scottish - Notts to bounce back from an absolute hiding last week.
Doncaster 5 v 1 Bedford - Expecting a great game here but Blues haven’t won at Castle Park since 2012 and Donny are starting to hit some good form - I think the Knights take the full 5 points.
Hartpury 4 v 1 Chinnor - Chinnor will be very competitive but Hartpury at home should win.
Ampthill 0 v 5 Ealing - As much as the A’s are always tricky at home, i only see this going one way - lightning from last season won’t strike twice.
Coventry 5 v 0 Caldy - Can’t see any other result. Cov way too good.
Cornish Pirates 5 v 1 Cambridge - Same as the Coventry game but I think Cambs could sneak 4 tries in a high scoring match.

Nottingham 5 v 1 London Scottish - Think this could be high scoring
Doncaster 2 v 5 Bedford - Blues can go and win, but wouldn't be surprised if we lost, but need to get 2 bonus points if they do
Hartpury 5 v 1 Chinnor - Chinnor to get 4 tries but Hartpury to keep the pressure on 2nd
Ampthill 0 v 5 Ealing - Ampthill had 9 Saracens last week, but it shouldn't matter how many they have, Ealing should win.  Ampthill's best hope is to get the sprinklers on the pitch
Coventry 5 v 0 Caldy - Easy home win
Cornish Pirates 5 v 1 Cambridge - Cambridge appear to be improving but won't be able to cope with the Pirates backs

Nottingham 1 - 4 London Scottish - Nottingham have a horrible injury list, and it showed last weekend.
Doncaster 4 - 1 Bedford - Feels like Donny are finding form.
Hartpury 5 - 1 Chinnor - expecting a let down from Chinnor after a tough loss last weekend.
Ampthill 0 - 5 Ealing - Ampthill often is very tough at home, and Ealing is running out a slightly youthful squad, but I think they'll still get the job done.
Coventry 5 - 0 Caldy - No comment.
Cornish Pirates 5 - 0 Cambridge - Cambridge seem a bit adrift and have a long journey.

A good win for Scottish, obviously they got the required help from Quins this week….

Would be remiss of me not to mention that LS’s Co-tenants at the RAG have virtually sealed promotion tonight - it will be good to see a proper rugby club back in the Championship who have EARNT their place ON THE FIELD and not through some shoddy, murky back channel.

Sorry if raising a pertinent issue annoys you. I have my view, you have yours, let’s just leave it at that. I was surprised that Scottish won that one, Nottingham have generally been very good at home this season.

I refer the gentleman to my previous comment.

PS Richmond have had a great season and will be a fine and welcome addition to this league (whatever this league is or will be).

Nottingham were all about attack and Scots were all about defence (hangng on at the end) and discipline and taking opportunities when they appeared. It was a good game of rugby and a good win.

Off topic but a shout out to London Scottish Amateur (Lions) - 3 promotions in as many season should they take a point in the final home game today (promotion to L5 - replacing London Welsh who will go up to N2E). A great season under the stewardship of a certain player coach - Mark Bright who at 40 odd continues to give to the sport.Clap

I’m struggling to sum up the first half at Castle Park… absolutely craziness springs to mind. 3 yellow cards, 6 tries and Blues lead 22-20 at HT.

Best game I have seen all season - great skills, great continuity and very well refereed. Either side could have won it. Wonderful entertainment.

Seven tries all converted.
Upside (again): Cov continue to score tries.
Downside (again) Cov continue to leak tries (and yellow cards; two, I think).
