Ealing Trailfinders to face Harlequins: Strong side, though I'd like to see Holgate at 12, and I'm concerned about having enough beef up front with Biyi Alo out. Good to see Sean Lonsdale back in the squad though. Changing the good halfback pairing of Hampson and Jones from last weekend is a bit odd. Finally, slightly surprised Tom Collins is not showing up recently; he dropped out of a match day squad minutes before kick off about a month ago and hasn't been seen since.

Judging by the number of people at the Sale game (on TV now), there’s little or no interest in the game for the physical spectators

Good work from the Championship teams!

Hartpury drawing away and wins for Blues at home but Knights away on TV. Blues could have gone for the try bonus point which would have given them an opportunity for 2nd but now need to settle for 3rd.

Thanks Gerg, but alas I had to rush off.

What a good night's rugby from the championship sides, two wins and a draw, who would have thought.

I know that Sale side wasn't their strongest, but it wasn't 23 academy lads either.

Nor 7-3 Cov on the half-hour.
Cov have lost a hooker again (Poole). Seems like about four games on the trot now.

Ealing 10 (1T) Quins 12 (2T) - A real battle. Ealing winning at scrum time, but Quins quicker to the breakdown. Ealing have lost two over the line. Very physical.

Ealing 10 (1T) - Quins 19 (3T) - 5' abysmal call from sir on a high tackle led to a yellow and a quick 5m line out score. Ealing down a man. They need to start playing with ambition.

Ealing 10 (1T) - Quins 32 (BP) - Easily the worst I have seen Ealing play this year. No ambition, just one phase and kick away. Awful under the high ball, and the 6-2 bench split didnt pay off as the subs were scrummed off the park. An especially bad day for Cam Terry, with the replacement hooker losing almost every line out. Quins were solid, but they didn't have to play well today.
