If the Premiership plans to finish off the season they have 9 more weeks before playoffs = 11 weeks and I haven’t considered European rugby. This could cause issues for the Championship again, along with other knock on issues.

1. Lack of decent pre-season games and more importantly money.

2. At this rate Saracens may still have to play in the Premiership when having to also play in the Championship. Could this delay our season and again money the clubs need?

3. More a Premiership issue but there are player issues! You could have a player switching clubs for the play-offs having played all season with another club.

4. England are meant to be touring Japan in July. Assuming everything was “ok” for it to happen then the Premiership would be clashing with this.

1. Health is more important than money.
2. If this is the case Saracens record could be expunged from the Premiership
3.. Already likely to happen (Jonnie May for one
4. England tour of Japan won't happen in July - already talking of October, however release of players may be a problem

I've seen it reported (as 1 possibility, not a done deal) that England could play SEVEN autumn internationals (the summer brace v Japan, 1 x outstanding 6N v Italy + 4 originally-scheduled)!!

Do they really believe that they could sell the TV rights or the tickets to that many games. ( I know some are away).

If they play that many games - then what does that do to the quality of the Premiership games.
It ill make it harder for CVC to sell TV rights to Premiership abroard if the stars are all away wearing the rose / shamrock / thistle / feathers.

Remember that the RFU are only concerned about the income generated by the England team. There has also been a suggestion by Sweeney that the Autumn internationals against Southern Hemisphere sides could be replaced by a home and away Six Nations.

Anything might happen if World Rugby has an Argentinian boss?

At least he is prepared to challenge the incumbent - unlike many on here who complain about their CB rep.
