| Sara Cox as Referee and JP Doyle as assessor? That seems an embarassment of riches for the Ealing - Jersey game. I've rated both of them. Not quite to the level though of getting Wayne Barnes for our preseason friendly against Rosslyn Park. |

Anyhow, I prefer this line up to the one we saw last weekend. Tommy Bell at 15 allows David Johnston to play in his more effective position at 13. I prefer Sloane in as well. I thought that Willis and Burns were the best 9/10 combo in the league last year by the end of the season, but I guess you don't bring in Shingler to sit on the bench. This line up says nothing good about Ealing's recruitment though, as the vast majority of the new signings haven't been able to force themselves into the match day squad.

Ampthill (53) outscored Carnegie (22) 8 tries to 3 with a much better second half performance. Nice to secure our first ever win & points at level 2. YC are not that bad a side, the just need to gel as a team.
