Well only 3 more matches until we reach the season mid point, so over the next few weeks the mid table will want to win to keep themselves there and the cellar dwellers desperate to become mid table

With the 1 auto and 1 play off place available it looks very much a 3 horse race but they will have to work hard to stay there as maybe people are working out Rochford and the other new boys are finding their feet after slow starts.

This week sees the battle of the cellar dwellers as well as an interesting fixture as Rochford visit Dorking for the first time ever. Unfortunately I will not be there as months ago accepted an invite to sit at a no doubt freezing Stoop and watch the Quins play Bath in a 17.30 kick offCry

Elsewhere Wimbledon have a tricky to visit 4th placed Herford who have won 3 on the bounce

Brighton 5 v Guildford 0 - Two desperate teams, loser staring down the barrel of London 1 South. Fancy Brighton at home as the better team.
Civil Service 0 v 7Oaks 4 - CS to crash back to earth as they did post their upset of Hertford. Oaks last month has been quietly impressive.
Guernsey 5 v Sidcup 0 - Sidcup's form appears to be heading in the wrong direction.
Hertford 5 v Wimbledon 2 - Hertford back playing better rugby after a mid season wobble. Will fancy themselves at home, will need to score 4 tries to beat the free scoring Dons. Can't resist an upset.
LIWG 4 v Tring 1 - Who would have thought at the start of the year that these two teams would be in the positions they are? Geese at home by the skins of their teeth.
TW 4 v Bedford 1 - Bedford may have a grass allergy, winless off the plastic and can't see it changing this week.
Dorking 5 v 100 2 - Always fancy Dorking to knock a top team off at home, Dons and Islanders both survived, therefore the 100 are obviously tripping up this weekend. In what would be back to back loses for the first time since dinosaurs walked the earth.

Bton 5 vs. 1 Guildford, Both need a win Brighton to do well in the mud.
CSS 1 vs. 4 7Oaks, Fantastic result last week for Stags but think 7Oaks will nick it.
Dorking 4 vs. 1 R100, Looked like a very tight game for 100 last week, but going home advantage.
Islanders 5 vs. 0 Sidcup, Islanders romp home with BP.
Herts 4 vs. 2 Dons, Tough call, very savvy front row at Dons last week, clever lads or good coaching. Going home win just.
LIWG 4 vs. 0 Tring, another battle at the bottom end of the table, home win.
TWells 4 vs. 1 Bedford, close game TWells to nick it.

Some tough calls this week
Dorking are tough at home but Rochford really need this to keep in touch with the leaders.
Hertford look to be improving, but I’ll stick with the Dons this week
I’ve not seen Sevenoaks yet so I’m guessing here
Guernsey not an easy place to go on the back of a couple of wobbly results.
Last week showed, no results are certain in this league.
Let’s hope for good weather and good rugby :-)

Brighton 5-0 Guildford
CS Stags 5-0 Sevenoaks
Guernsey 5-0 Sidcup
Hertford 0-5 Wimbledon
LIWG 5-0 Tring
Tunbridge Wells 5-0 Bedford
Dorking 0-5 Rochford

Brighton 5-0 Guildford
13th against 14th and going with an improving Brighton
CSS 4-0 7Oaks
Can Stags back up last week's, I am guessing yes
Guernsey 5-0 Sidcup
Guernsey to keep pace with Wimbledon
Hertford 1-5 Wimbledon
I have a sneaking suspicion I may be wrong on this one as Hertford have one of the best defences but Wimbledon have by far the best points for tally and 9 try scoring bonus pts
LIWG 1-5 Tring
Massive game for both sides as whoever loses dragged closer to the abyss. Going with Tring's experiences as after all they finished 4th last year.
T.Wells 5-1 Bedford Ath
Tunbridge too strong at home
Dorking 1-4 Rochford
I really want to go with my heart on this one but I do not think Rochford have become a bad side overnightCry

Brighton                      Guildford          5-2       Basement battle with home team playing the conditions better

CS Stags                     Sevenoaks      1-5       Is a week long enough to recover for CS?

Guernsey                     Sidcup             5-0       Guernsey far too good

Hertford                      Wimbledon        5-2       Why not. Think this one might need a ref that understands scrums, mauls and rucks.

LIWG                         Tring                   1-4       LIWG have deficiencies up front. Trung to exploit.

Tunbridge Wells          Bedford             5-0       Long journey to take it out of Bedford.

Dorking                       Rochford           1-4       Really, really don't know.

BRIGHTON 5-0 Guildford- Brighton have started their fightback but both need to win this basement battle. Home advantage and impressive win against Cup will provide the platform.
CS STAGS 1863 4-1 Sevenoaks- Stags will need a repeat of last weeks win to repel persistent Oaks.
GUERNSEY 5-0 Sidcup- Are Cup on the slide/have injury woes? Whatever, Raiders will cement their 2nd position with emphatic win
HERTFORD 4-1 Wimbledon- This is just the place where Dons will slip up, and can see Herts going on a winning sequence.
LIWG 5-0 Tring- Geese must win this with home advantage against very dis-appointing visitors after last seasons exploits.
TUNBRIDGE WELLS 5-1 Bedford Ath- Twells having a v good season and it doesnt look like stopping, even though Ath will finish strongly.
DORKING 5-1 Rochford Hundred- D's are playing very well and cohesive with positive vibes from the pack and backs, and 100 have suddenly stuttered. Lots of speculation why, so hoping their slide continues. Also first ever visit to the Big Field. That said I could be very wrong.Ermm

Could there be a split in the top 3? Can any of the bottom 3 climb out of the mire?  Was very surprised at the quality of Guildfords pitch last week after recent heavy rain, so expect conditions generally to have changed for the good after a recent drying period. Not sure where the upset will come this week, but there will be one. Good luck to ALL.

Brighton    4-1  Guildford - Another much needed win for Blues. Gs already a London 1 side.

CS Stags  4-1  Sevenoaks - I think this will be close and could go either way but CS to nick it.

Guernsey  5-0  Sidcup - Nothing for Sidcup here as they continue their downtrend.

Hertford    2-5  Wimbledon - I'm going for the Dons but it'll buck the trend with the conditions and there will be points scored by both sides.

LIWG        4-1  Tring - Going to be very close but going with home team and the much needed W they have to get.

TWRFC    5-0  Bedford - T Wells going well, Bedford not overly impressive away from home.

Dorking    1-5  Rochford - Rochford to bounce back but will have to battle

Sea Siders 4 v G's 0 - G's struggles to continue, Sea Siders don't giver that easy
Stags 4 v 7/8 Oaks 1 - Stags brilliant result last week can they back it up 7/8 Oaks making a go of Nat 3
Islanders 5 v Cup 0 - Cup seem to have a few injuries following their good start
Hertford 1 v Wombles 4 - Wombles were the best side last year and have improved, Hertford will not give in that easy
Irish 1 v Tring 4 - Both sides are struggling with form and confidence, tight game
RTW/TW 5 v Bedford 0 - Going with home side
Dorking 4 v 1000s 1 - This would be a tight game even if 1000s were on form

Good luck to all sides this weekend

What’s going on at Sidcup? I watched them at Sevenoaks earlier in the season and they were outstanding. Results have certainly taken a dip.
