Two very debatable tries for Sale which the refereeing team acknowledged they could have got wrong denied Caldy the draw with the final score 14-28…… Caldy matched the Premiership team for most of the game and a strong Sale Sharks side will be mightily relieved to leave Paton Field with the win

Absolute nonsense. The referee (and his assistants) would have made their decisions based on what was happening in front of them at the time. As far as I'm aware there is no TMO capability at the Paton Field Stadium (in part due to the fact their is no compliance with MSC on The Wirral). Caldy were beaten and beaten well by a superior team, let's not sulk and blame the officials, it's embarrassing. Enjoy the enhanced takings on the gate and move on (to National 1).

The comment you made in the last sentence sounds like a comment I would expect on a football forum. I find your comments disrespectful particularly given the massive gap in funding.

Or know the difference between “their” and “there”.

The referee officiated well and was one of the best Caldy have had at Paton Field.Discussion after the game re two tries where a knock on was missed and a potentially illegal move for Sales final score. The referee acknowledged that the team may have missed something and I understand that he graciously agreed to review the footage later. My point was not sour grapes it was just to demonstrate the close nature of the game. Caldy played ever so well against a strong full time Premiership club

I’m sure I’ve asked this before , which game did you actually attend today ? Or have you stayed at home developing your Caldy bashing skills 😂 No euphemism intended Now that’s embarrassing 😩

To be honest I expected Sale to win and I was not one bit disappointed in any way that Caldy lost I was just hugely pleased that a Caldy match day squad that included 6 young players that have only played a few 1st xv games and stepped up from the 2nd xv could stay in the arm wrestle for 80 minutes. It was a good day at Paton Field

Something is embarrassing but I don't think it is BE's post.

They are a Rams fan. Which might explain why they’re even more angry than normal this week…

Bedford gave one of the better accounts of themselves in this round today at Bath, got close at one stage but ended 43-26 FT.
Not official, but I think that means the potential group winners at this stage are Falcons, Cov, Ealing, Bath and Exeter, with the 3 best runners-up (so qualifying for QFs) being Quins, Brizz and Sale...

Two rounds left yet, so doubt Cov will be winners (unless Saints and Tigers decide not to 'turn up').

Blues, put in a good attacking performance, scoring some decent tries. Lineout probably cost them the game though, as it must have been about 33% success at best.
