This (supposedly blank) weekend, we have five fixtures in a 14 team league. This always make it harder to read the table and predict form. By my reckoning, there are 11 games unplayed to date. And some sides have 1 in 6 games outstanding...

As the casualty lists grow, how is this going to play out? Rams will probably see it as an extra bag of dry powder in their skirmishing with Sale, but further down the league. how much impact will the loss of "recovery" time have? And will folk stay at home for the internationals?

Albion will even up their tally v Leeds on Sat at Brickfields, but bar the proximity of Nat 1 FT/6N KO, I'll be happy to be back at "par" with 11 weekends remaining.

In my opinion it depends on who you have to play and whether home or away. This is the first season I have known where we have had 3 games called off and more to the point 2 before Christmas. We did have a two week break before the trip to Guernsey but that’s gone so big changes to the back room prep, so based on that catch up games are a curse
