Rules of game quite interesting but hey it’s all about raising money for a terrific charity

Rules of the Game

13 a side six forwards seven backs

Each team can bring a goal kicker for kicks at goal

Unlimited tackles in your own half but six tackles when attacking team passes halfway

Unlimited interchange

Uncontested scrums from knock ons and forward passes These are taken on 20 metre markin from touch. Attacking team can decide which side of field scrum is placed

Uncontested 5 man line outs when ball goes into touch

One on one ball steals allowed in tackle before attacking ball carrier goes to ground Tackle complete play the ball to start play

Two markers at tackle Offside is 5 metres from play the ball

Two referees one union one league one officiating the ruck the other offside 5 points for try two for penalty conversion and drop goal

If ball is knocked dead in goal goal line drop out from defending team. Mus go 10 metres

Penalties kicked to touch Restart with a line out or take tap from where penalty is awarded Advantage for union but encourages league to attack from penalties
