Quote
ITV has agreed a new deal with Premiership Rugby to broadcast a number of matches, including the Twickenham final, on free-to-air television.

Sale against leaders Leicester on Sunday, 30 January will be the first of this season's five matches to be shown.

It means the final on Saturday, 18 June will be broadcast on free-to-air television for the first time on ITV4.

ITV's deal, which includes a weekly highlights programme, will run until the end of the 2023-24 season.

A maximum of seven games per season is roughly one a month. It doesn't sound a great deal to me.

I think it's great that there's going to be a weekly highlights show (as long as it's got a regular timeslot, and that isn't 11:45pm).  And any matches free-to-air has to be an improvement on none.

It's not loads, admittedly, but a lot better than the previous position = none! And also very pleased there's a highlights show back, having been got rid of at start of this season. Even it is at 11.45pm, as feared by another poster - there are plenty of catch-up options to watch programmes whenever you want...
