If Twickenham were to close, does anyone know which grounds would be big enough to host England rugby internationals. I assume Wembley (but its in London).

I say this in light of RFU forecast losses, refurbishment costs and SRFU posting >£10m losses 2022/23 and 2023/24.

How long is a piece of string.

The cabbage patch is currently the second laergest stadium in the UK - at 82,000 though that will be cut to 80,000.

Old Trafford holds 74,000

Apparently HQ needs over £500 mllion spending on it.
One has to ask, is it worth it.

Franchise it out to the US. It ticks all the boxes in one go. Aspiration, game growth, low investment, huge returns, and growing the game in new markets and TV revenue WinkWinkWinkπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚job done as a RFU board.

Other than that I’m with RM2,  Clifton Lane for meπŸ‘WinkWink

All the best

Not sure Clifton Lane has the capacity LOL but great location for rugby.

Sell Twickenham to Wasps and take international around England or Europe as proposed by https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/articles/c3vl1p9prrzo" rel="nofollow - Brett Robinson

Sell it to Wasps, Worcester and London Irish.

They can merge to form a new team, London Wasters, playing out of there.
They can form their own league, of this one team.
They can spend each Saturday afternoon running around their stadium.
