London Scottish 5 - 2 Nottingham - one that could go the other way, but a Friday night makes it hard to travel

Bedford Blues 5 - 2 Doncaster Knights - Blues to win it, but not with a drop goal, but a Fyn Brown try to upset the Knights faithful. Although I could also see this going the other way between 2 well matched teams. Hope we have some 2nd rows returning from injury, as all 4 could be out!

Caldy 0 - 5 Coventry - the pitch is not a mud bath so only one winner by a decent margin

Cambridge 0 - 5 Cornish Pirates - Pirates will be determined to get their season going and Cambridge won’t stop them

Chinnor 2 - 5 Hartpury - Could go the other way but I see Hartpury coming out on top. Hartpury’s defence was not great against Blues, so I expect lots of points

Ealing 5 - 0 Ampthill - don’t see Ampthill winning this one even with Sarries assistance
